Plant deep roots

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord And whose trust is the Lord. “For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7, 8 NASB)

Run To God

Run To God!

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God ’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God ! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don’t, dear friend, resent God ’s discipline; don’t sulk under his loving correction. It’s the child he loves that God corrects; a father’s delight is behind all this. (Proverbs 3:5-12 MSG)

Trust

Sadly, sometimes our trust is betrayed by another. Experiencing this betrayal of trust can really push one to trust the only one who is completely trustworthy. Transferring the pain and disappointments of the situation to trusting God for reconciliation and redemption will bring hope.

In that dark season, you will find that…..

“You are making me a mountain that cannot be shaken.
Your making me a mountain that cannot be moved”.
