Flash Radio Transmitters

In early December RadioPoppers, a wireless flash control, announced RadioPopper X. These are a second generation RadioPopper System. A complete ground-up redesign of their previous system. The all new RadioPopper X system is a highly scalable hardware platform that will grow with you. These units will now seamlessly mix sophisticated ETTL/iTTL automatic flash including ratios and groups, with manually controlled lights or studio lighting units – at the same time, in the same image. These units are said to provide a reliable link on one of sixteen channels, while providing a usage range of 1700ft – 518m. RadioPopper is also offering an entry level “jrx” unit. these units are more affordable at $99 for JrX Transmitter and JrX Receiver basic kit. The top model is $249ea for the transmitter or receiver. These units may give the competition a run.
