Microsoft Internet Explorer

Dump Microsoft Internet Explorer NOW!
That is right get rid of it. There are so many bugs, security issues and more. I say this because I create websites. The code used to create these sites usually have to be rewritten so that the black sheep of the browser world can view them. Internet explorer does nothing but cause authors grief. I can have a website that looks great in all the browsers, open it in IE and nothing looks right. Everything is out of whack. They just don’t follow the international standards.

If you use IE I suggest using something else. IE is a hassle to the user. It is kind of like the record industry (don’t get me started here! all we want is complete ownership). They want to control what you hear and charge for every time you play a song. IE wants to view webpages the way they want. They want the pages to be coded their way. Here is another example… Starbucks. That’s right. I love Starbucks because I love a consistent cup o’ joe. Every cup at every place tastes the same. Anyway, have you ever noticed… they want you to use their terminology. They want you to speak their language. If you ask for a medium they say, “so you want a Grande” (or whatever it is) blah, blah.

My point is this, IE is not for the user. IE uses you, the user, and causes your system to be vulnerable to threat. Just do a search on “internet explorer problems”. Be ready to have your eyes opened.

I have basically said all this to alert you to the facts and let you know that this website is not designed for Internet Explorer.

For the best experience, use Safari, Firefox, or Opera. Of these three, my personal choice is Safari on Mac. I choose this because I don’t need a browser that has 500 toolbars with lots of applications eating up all my system resources. I want tabbed browsing and bookmarks. Simple. My way, my choice, not the corporations.

I am done with my rant.
